Lower Immediate All-On-4 rehabilitation
'All-On-4' refers to all teeth being supported by only 4 implants. It is relatively new technique where the back implants are tilted 45° to provide the required support for total rehabilitation. The technique of tilting the back implants help overcome bone deficiences often found in the back of the jaws and most often avoids the need for bone grafting. Since less implants are used by comparision to conventional techniques, the cost is somewhat reduced while still delivering optimal results. It also allows for simpler and less costly maintainence and uncomplicated cleaning.
Patients with a heavy bite, those who have exceptionally good bone or who have already had bone grafting, may often be treated in the conventional manner with 6 or more implants.

Work-up
The first step is to make an appointment for an oral examination to go over treatment alternatives and determine which solution works best for your very individual needs and expectations.
An OPG and CAT scans are usually required to d e t e r m i n e i m p l a n t positions in full arch rehabilitation. If you are suitable for keyhole guided surgery, a special stent will be made to wear during your scan.
Photos and models are used to plan the optimal set-up of the replacement teeth for aesthetics, function and speech. Surgical stents are then fabricated to guide the i m p l a n t p l a c e m e n t according to the work-up.
